what we expect for weather today. cool temperatures and patchy fog to start, isolated. all in the north and east bay valleys it can be fixed at times. this afternoon more sunshine our temperatures will warm up into the upper 60s. tonight, we do have clouds rolling and because we have a series of systems headed our way that will give a sprinkles here and there. right now, 49 san francisco, 41 santa rosa of the coolest. don't worry we will warm things up considerably by this afternoon. we will see widespread 60s, mainly mid to low mid '60s. we'll have some spots near 60 degrees. mainly at the north bay and in the south bay. as for what we expect to happen this weekend. take a look,

rafael is 46 degrees, high of 67. >>mark: senator john mccain is in libya meeting with rebel forces. mccain one of the supporters of the u.s. military intervention in libya. saying rebels fighting are his heroes. mccain is a top republican on the senate arms committee and said he's there to assess the situation. on man creditors are providing 24- hour patrols over libya as president barack obama approved the use of these armed drones on the armed forces for the first time since american turned over the operation in they go back 8 1/4. the rebels have been complaining that nato air strikes have been largely ineffective. defense secretary said the creditors will limit the u.s. role but will provide additional help to nato. he insists u.s. boots will not touch libyan soil. japan >>darya: said they had brought up an extra budget.

no description of the suspect, police are warning residents to locking windows when you leave your home. reporting live, kron 4 news. >>mark: 3 registered sex offenders have been arrested after violating conditions of their release. police visited registered sex offenders as part of a sting. they visited the homes to make sure they live where they said they did and searched for pornography and toys that attract children. a former girlfriend took the stand in court yesterday, she said she did not remember him asking her to watch a news report about the shooting death of bailey back in 2007. according to the prosecutor, the girlfriend said then they

asked her to watch the report. the video played in court last week, shows been laughing at the death of bailey. >>darya: pleaded not guilty to charges that they set up man for drunk driving arrests. steven and christopher butler are suspected of conspiracy and other charges to. prosecutors say butler hired women to get his clients or estranged husband strong and arrange to have them arrested wednesday drove away. the idea was to put the men at a disadvantage in their divorce proceedings. butler and another man have also pleaded not guilty to separate charges alleging they sold seized drugs. >>mark: the weekend weather forecasts, it doesn't look that nice. james has the latest >>james: today will be ok, a quick look at where receiving the cloud cover

west bound. your ride for the golden gate bridge, 101 very light this morning. no slow in showing up on the road with centers. let's take a look pitcher ride through san jose, picking up the commute here 1 01 northbound. it no delays or problems as you head up towards santa clara from downtown san jose. >>mark: it's been two days and firefighters are still battling this for alarm fire at a warehouse in watsonville. 50 firefighters have used a 3 million gal. of water to try and extinguish the fire at the apple growers ice and cold storage company. it started at 3:30 p.m. wednesday and one of the company's collapse trying to sell this the merchandise, they say it's worth four to $5 million. it could take four days to complete put out the fire. the causes under investigation. >>darya: president barack obama is waking up in california today. he left yesterday around 10:30 a.m.

and then went on to reno, and to los angeles. this is video as he arrived in l.a.. his three day west coast trip is all part of a fund- raising blitz for his 2012 campaign for reelection. he is also selling a long-term plan for reducing the deficit. yesterday his supporters rallied at a gathering in sony pictures, where he talked about the economy. >> to a half years later, as the economy is growing again. to a half years later, were creating jobs again. to a half years later, the financial system works again. to and a half years later, small businesses are opening their doors again. >>darya: he is hoping to raise $1 billion for his 2012 reelection campaign. he wraps up this three day west coast swing later this morning.

>>mark: on wall street, the markets closed today for the observance of good friday. strong earnings reports coming out from blue chips, the dow of 52 points just yesterday. shares of apple rose 3% after the first quarter earnings beat analysts' estimates. the dow to its highest in nearly three years. >>reporter: and kron 4 news room, problems for amazon this morning the company sells books and cds online but it also rents out space for a huge computer servers. one of the amazon state dissenters in texas is still experiencing an outage, it 24 hours later. this morning amazon said the recovery effort is making progress but it could all could put a timetable on when the computers would be restored. this service affects millions of people who use these computer programs. hopefully it will be back on soon.

average for the regular gallon of gas is $4.29 which is about close to the state average. nationally, $3.84 up $1 over the same time last year. california is nowhere near that. we have the distinct pleasure of been the second-highest in the entire country. $4.29 only hawaii is tiger. they're $4.50. --higher. what you're going to pay in the bigger cities san francisco $4.27, oakland $4.21, san jose at $4.22 just to tick higher than the state average. it all has to do with the barrel of oil. $110 for a bear all right
